Brazilian Blowout After Care

How to keep your hair silky, smooth, and protected after your treatment!

1. Wait to Wash

You can wash your hair as soon as you like—but waiting 24–48 hours helps maximize longevity. If you do shampoo early, use the recommended products to preserve the smoothing effect.

2. Use Sulfate-Free Products

  • Stick to Brazilian Blowout–approved or sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.

  • Sulfates and sodium chloride can strip the treatment and shorten its lifespan.

3. Hydrate Without Heaviness

  • Use lightweight, moisturizing products to keep hair soft and manageable.

  • Avoid heavy oils or butters that can weigh hair down or interfere with the treatment’s seal.

4. Heat Is Your Friend

  • Blow-drying and flat ironing actually help activate and extend the treatment.

  • Always use a heat protectant to guard against damage while styling.

5. Sleep Smart

  • Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction and frizz.

  • Tie hair loosely or wear a silk wrap to maintain smoothness overnight.

6. Protect from Salt & Chlorine

  • Before swimming, wet your hair and apply a leave-in conditioner or protective serum.

  • Rinse immediately after to prevent salt or chlorine from breaking down the treatment.

7. Maintain with Mini Treatments

Ask your stylist about express blowout touch-ups or deep conditioning masks to refresh results between full treatments. Most clients rebook every 10–12 weeks!
